San Diego Rail Yard Relocation and Development - Opportunities

PART 2: We took a look at what would happen if we relocated the light rail maintenance yard and the bus facility. The land is in a prime location with tremendous land value. We envision a new central rail station, dense residential and commercial zones and a new arts district adjacent to rail tracks of the existing right of way.

This image delineates the land for potential development and studies the modified street grid. We left a large portion of land for open and green space which will add further value to the land and make it desirable for residents and businesses.
